Portrait of Deirdre

Here is a stunning portrait of Deirdre on her wedding day as the warm sun is setting in the background. Yes I am mostly a photojournalist capturing all the moments on your wedding day but I spend anywhere from 10 minutes to 40 minutes for a couple’s portraits on the day of the wedding. I’m one of those photographers who is flexible with this because it’s not all about what I want. A lot of couples want to spend some time at their cocktail hour so maybe they want a short portrait session. I of course tell couples the more time you give me the more you will get to choose from later. Many couples love to have a moment before the wedding to see each other and a lot of times that settles some nerves too. We then can do some portraits before the wedding and more time for you to go to your cocktail hour. Deirdre and Adam already did an engagement session with me so they were pretty comfortable in front of the camera so having a shorter session during the wedding went well.

Deirdre & Adam – Harrington Farm Wedding

We were going through a little heat wave in Massachusetts but by Saturday evening the temperature cooled down for Deirdre and Adam’s wedding at the gorgeous Harrington Farm! I photographed a wedding there a couple of years ago so I was so excited to be back. I knew it was going to be a fun day when Deirdre came down the aisle to a Flaming Lips song! Their wedding was such a blast with lots of great dancers. Deirdre and Adam have such a lovely group of friends and lots of loving family it was a joy to document their wedding day (and engagement photos). Here are a few of my favorites and the photos of the guys getting ready were shot by Darcy! Congrats!!!

Michelle & Dan – Smith Barn Wedding

Michelle and Dan were married on Memorial Day at the quaint Smith Barn in Peabody. Their wedding was the third I’ve done there so I was thrilled to be back amongst the orchards and the rustic barn. It was fun to make use of the daylight that streamed through the extra large barn doors. Michelle and Dan are such a sweet couple and there were so many precious moments throughout the day! They saw each other before the wedding so we were able to set up a special first look for them right next to the orchard. Thanks so much for having us document your day and here are just a few favorites!

Finao Flush Mount Sample Album

Here’s another sample I put together from last year’s wedding season. I love the 10×14 landscape size and it really shows the story of the day well with horizontal photos. I’ve been using Finao Album Company for years and I am always amazed at the quality of their handmade albums. They have a huge variety of covers from leathers to silk brocades. This particular album’s cover is the secret garden leather with a square spine.

Check it out!
